Walter Goodacre (1856-1938) era un uomo d'affari, nonché astrofilo, inglese. Fu il secondo Direttore della Lunar Section della British Astronomical Association.

Nel 1910 pubblicò una mappa della Luna, disegnata a mano, di 77 pollici (1950 mm) di diametro. Nel 1931 pubblicò in proprio un grande libro di mappe della superficie della Luna con la descrizione di molte formazioni del suolo lunare.
